Pharmacies across Goa will join a nationwide shutdown, while hospital medicine counters will stay open

Pharmacies across Goa will remain closed on 20 May 2026 as the Chemists and Druggists Association of Goa (CDAG) joins a nationwide shutdown. CDAG president Amit Kamat said medicine counters inside hospitals will remain operational. Citizens have been advised to purchase essential medicines in advance to avoid inconvenience.
